I don't need to write it down.
Chẳng cần phải ghi ra.
An elderly husband and wife visit their doctor when they begin forgetting little things.
Hai vợ chồng già đi khám bác sĩ khi bắt đầu lẫn.
Their doctor tells them that many people find it useful to write themselves little notes.


When they get home, the wife says, "Dear, will you please go to the kitchen and get me a dish of ice cream?
And maybe write that down so you won't forget?"


"Nonsense," says the husband, "I can remember a dish of ice cream."


"Well," says the wife, "I'd also like some strawberries and whipped cream on it."


"My memory's not all that bad," says the husband. "No problem -- a dish of ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream. I don't need to write it down."

He goes into the kitchen; his wife hears pots and pans banging around.


The husband finally emerges from the kitchen and presents his wife with a plate of bacon and eggs.


She looks at the plate and asks, "Hey, where's the toast I asked for?"


Bác sĩ bảo nhiều người sợ quên nên ghi vào giấy, thấy cũng hay.


Khi về đến nhà, bà vợ nói, "Mình ơi, mình làm ơn vô bếp lấy cho em một ly kem nhé? Và chắc mình ghi vô giấy đi không thôi quên đấy? "


Ông chồng bảo "Nhảm, anh nhớ một ly kem được mà."


Vợ nói: "Vậy tốt, em thích có vài quả dâu và kem sữa béo nữa đó nhe."


Trí nhớ của anh không tệ đến thế đâu," ông chồng nói. "Chuyện nhỏ - -ly kem có bỏ dâu và kem sữa béo. Chẳng cần phải ghi ra."

Ông vào bếp; bà vợ nghe tiếng xoong nồi khua loảng xoảng.


Cuối cùng ông chồng cũng ra khỏi bếp và đưa vợ một đĩa thịt muối xông khói và trứng.


Bà săm soi chiếc đĩa rồi hỏi, "Nè, bánh mì nướng em xin đâu?"
